Carson loves to smile. It's been so much fun the past week because every time I talk to him he gives me a big smile! He had his first big outting yesterday. Mom and I took him to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Then a short stop at Babies R Us for diaper change and feed and then to Dillards. When we were at Dillards I took him out of the stroller because he was wide awake. A lady came up to us and started talking to him and commenting on how cute he was. And then he burped right in her face. I know babies are babies and do those things but I was so embarrassed. It was so loud. Thank heaven she has grandkids and knows how it is.

Carson is growning so much, his vision has developed and he looks everywhere. We "talk" with him making sounds and once in a while he lets out a huge shriek for no apparent reason except maybe he has figured out that he can.
Ryan and Kelly are such great parents - this is one taken-care-of kid.
