Family Vacation

We took our first family vacation of 2010. It's been a year since we traveled so we were a little nervous about how Carson would handle it. We decided to go to Jacksonville so we could take Carson to the beach and the zoo. Our wonderful friends, Crisi and Travis who have a 20 month old, opened their home to us. It was so nice to not have to worry about childproofing and packing soooo many toys, not to mention the boys would constantly have someone to play with.

We left Friday night and drove through the night so Carson would sleep in the car. (At least that was the thought). He slept about 2 hours and when we got there at 1 a.m. he was ready to go. After he checked out the place, he did eventually go to bed.

The next morning the boys were excited to see each other. Carson didn't even want to eat breakfast because he was ready to play. (those of you who know him, know he has a big appetite)

Yes, they are dressed alike in the same pjs but it wasn't planned.
Crisi and I seem to do that alot.

Time to do some artwork

This is the just the beginning to a great week. We had a great time and enjoyed seeing all of our friends, I was sad to go. We are very thankful for Crisi and Travis opening their hime to us for a week. Thank you guys! Together we took over 500 pictures of the boys. As I start to sort through them I will post.
