Having fun in the kitchen

We finally put up the rest of our cabinet locks and Carson isn't very happy. He loves opening the doors and pulling everything out. (Once in a while he'll actually try to put it back)

He loves sweeping the floor. We have to hide the broom from him all the time.
This time he found it.

As some of you may know Carson has been battling bronchitis for the last week and a half. We went back to the doctor on Thursday for a check up and she was not very satisfied with his progress so she put him back on breathing treatments every 4 hours. If you have ever tried giving a one year old a breathing treatment it simply doesn't work. This past week was a huge joint effort between Ryan and I and both mom's. We are so blessed to have so much help. Either my mom and/or Ryan's mom would be here by 8 every morning to help give a breathing treatment while we were at work. We wouldn't have made it through without them. But I'm happy to report today that he is MUCH better. It's so nice to see him in such a great mood and smiling all the time.

Reading with Daddy

Carson loves to read books. He would rather sit down and look at a book than play with one of his many toys. At school his teacher tells me all the time how he always pulls the books off the shelves. (As a teacher this makes me so happy)

One of his favorite books is "Feely Bugs". This was the first book I bought when we decided we wanted to start a family, 5 years ago. He loves to share his book especially with daddy. He actually sat still for more than a minute so Ryan could read it to him.

"Please read it to me Daddy"

So Sweet!
I love these moments!

I love my puppy....

Carson got this wagon for Christmas from my mom, aunt and Grandmother. It's been too cold outside so we do laps around the dining room, I guess it's a good thing we haven't gotten furniture yet. This morning we decided to also let Elmo go for a ride. Carson was so excited to have his puppy ride with him he gave him a great big hug.
